Madhurima Banerjee Full Biography, Wiki, Facts: Madhurima Banerjee is a known film actress who was born and brought up in Mumbai. She was born on 28th May 1987. She was born in a non-filmy background as her father is a Mechanical Engineer and served in Indian Navy before he headed to become the general manager of a largest shipping yard of India, while her mother is a novelist. She did her schooling from Mumbai and later went on to do her law studies completing her LLB degree. During her college days, she also loved classical music, which led her to learn the same and had a formal training in Kathak but had to continue the same due to her father transfers.

 

Here interest for playback singing and music led her to record one song and this is where she was spotted by a known director called GV Iyer who then signed her for a TV serial called Kadambari. She also got the role of Sita in a film, which an adaptation of epic Ramayan, however, the director was passed away, which shelved the project. During her college days, she also did a part time job in a TV channel working as an anchor. However, due to her studies, she had to give up some big banner proposals until Priyadarshan was seen convincing her to do his film in the lead role.

Talking about her film career, she was seen in a guest appearance role in a film – Toss- A Flip of Destiny in 2009. The very same year she got her debut south Indian film and soon it was no looking back for her. Some of her films include Orange, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, Shadow, Veta, Green Signal and KothaJanta to name a few. Some of her recent movies include Best Actors, Supari Surya and Ishq Ne Krazzy Kiya Re. Her upcoming B Town film include One Night Stand, which she is doing with Sunny Leone.
